Hello there,

 I'm Sharon Stephenson and I've been rearranging words on a page for longer than I can remember.

I'll pretty much do anything for a good yarn - from getting married in Vegas and swinging from a trapeze to getting Botox and bungy jumping. A few years ago, by some fortuitous twist of fate, I fell into travel writing which has gifted me some of the most sublime moments of my life. 

From my home in Kapiti, New Zealand I write for a range of magazines, newspapers and online channels, including Kia Ora (Air NZ inflight magazine), The Listener, Woman+, Dish, Radio New Zealand, NZ Life & Leisure, Haven, Your Home & Garden, NZ House & Garden, Sunday Star Times, AA Directions, Scout, NZ Herald, Business Desk, Dominion Post, Get Up & Go (Australia), Horizon (Hong Kong), Discovery (Hong Kong), NZ Woman's Day, Canvas and Your Weekend. Sometimes I even take photos.

When I'm not doing that, I like to torture myself with copywriting and communications contracts.
